MizT

Tranea` is a native of Austin Texas and is the blessed mother of two grown sons. She is the oldest child and favorite daughter of Harvey (dec’d) and Faye. She has one brother, Harvey II, who resides in Houston Texas.

Tranea` began serving the Lord at the age of 7 as a Sunday School teacher.
Following in the foot steps of her Father, a member of the Quartet Group the “Soul Savers”, and her mother a great gospel vocalist and minister of music, Tranea has sang in a choir for as long as she can remember. It was either her parents, or her Uncle Carl Neal always programmed out as soloists or for singing duets. “Before I ever heard of Shirley Ceasar or Aretha Franklin, there was Faye Prosser! Before I ever heard of Rev. James Cleveland or Richard Smallwood, there was Daddy and Uncle Carl!”

Tranea` was asked by one of the associate ministers, Rev. Ira Shields in 1988 to lead Praise & Worship for the mid-week services at St. James Missionary Baptist Church, under the leadership of the late Rev. E.M. Franklin in Austin. She has also served as Praise & Worship leader at Turning Point Bible Fellowship, and currently at Freedom Home Baptist Church.

When it comes to Christian comedy and serving as an Emcee, Tranea` is known as MizT.

When asked about her style of Comedy, Tranea` says; “ I have been given a great gift by God, and it is a Joy to share it. I bless God for allowing me to carry and Minister such awesome gifts.”
