Hi ya'll. I've been selected to host 2 nights of the Austin Woman's Film, Music & Literary Festival, May 22 - 25 at Ruta Maya's Coffee House at 3601 South Congress Ave, Austin, TX. Come out and view, interact and network with female artists of diverse backgrounds and cultures. The artists involved provide a non-commerical and conscientious outlook about their perspective. There will be $500.00 cash for the "Best Of The Fest" in all genres. Come out have fun and vote!

Hi ya'll. I just got back from Abilene Texas for the 2008 Women's Conference at New Life Temple Assembly of God fellowship safe and sound. My hispanic sisters are as crazy as I am! On Friday night, there were about 60 ladies in attendance. The Praise and Worship team opened up and I tell you, there is a new "Aretha Franklin" in town and she is dynomite and bilingual! They have a wonderful worship band! I met my future husband. Oh, Hold ya mule! His name is Martin and he won't eva forget MizT. I shared my testimony on Friday night and sang a song of encouragement to the ladies. The main speaker, Devi Titus, has written a book called "The Home Experience" and she shared about setting the table using our best dishes at all times. In summary, She also spoke about how families did better when they sat down together and shared a meal and the blessings that we are missing out today by not dining together any more.
Saturday morning as MizT, I included the Pastor, Ezekiel Pecina in my skit, at the request of his members and we got him good! Needless to say,we left a good impression! Look out PADUCAH, you're next!

Lookout world! I have 3 "songs" on songvault.fm and they are moving up the Gospel charts steadily. I added "Shinura on me" on Feb, 19, 2008 and it's #17 in Christian SongVault Auditions. "Chil'ren" is #6 in Christian SongVault Showcase and "Bloopers in the Church" is #26 in Christian SongVault Finals. Whew! THANK YOU FANS!

I sold 2 CDs today and I was so excited to see their reactions when they opened them. They were pleasantly surprised and giggled when they read the "Get Out Of Hell" free cards. Don't miss out on the fun. Buy your CD today and join in!

EXPLOSIVE! Thank you Austin TX for showing up and showing out. It was a huge success. The night had a festive atmosphere and everybody left with big ole grins on their faces. I realize how hungry the christian community is for good entertainment and clean fun. I believe I had the most fun because I had the mic in my hand, but I am definitely encouraged.

I was so excited when I got the call that the CD's have arrived. I spilled a glass of water all over my skirt and onto the floor, I was shaking like a leaf. I didn't want to go by myself, but I did. When I got home and opened one, it hit me. I cried tears of joy, relief, excitement. This dream is finally here and completed. I'm holding in my hands the product of 3 years of physical set-backs. I blessed God, I started shouting and singing "Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus" and "O how I love Jesus". I had chuch tonight! Before another wave comes over me, let tell you that the first 500 CD's purchased will include a "Get Out of Hell" card. I'd be glad to know how you used it to plant a seed. On yesterday I was blessed with the opportunity to be given FREE banner space on an online weekly newsletter. Thank you soulciti.com! I shouted all night!

I gave my first autograph on yesterday! WOW! I couldn't believe it. I was having lunch with my friends when one of them handed me one of my postcard size fliers that she helped me pass out at work and stated that one of her co-workers wanted me to autograph it! Kinda cool, huh! Don't worry, we don't have the big head. It was a unique experience that I'm still processing and wanted to share the moment with you. It's a first.

Well I have dropped off the Mastered CD and they have sent it off to be copied, printed and packaged. Oh, did I tell you there is a surprise in the CD you purchase? There is a "Get Out Of Hell Free" card included in the CD! It's a great evangelist tool and conversation starter. Have fun and stay blessed!

With comments like that, I can't help but be humbled that my comedy is appreciated and received and accepted by the elderly and I'm very thankful. That is very encouraging and lets me know how much people need to laugh in times like we are living in.

I am a few days away from taking the Master CD to be duplicated and stuff for my first audio project and its quite an experience. I've gone from panic to excitement to calm and butterfiles to panic again. This is a dream come true and I know that God's hand is on it.

I'm so excited about the new people who I will meet as I begin this new journey and I'm just beside myself with excitement for the sake of being excited!
